I ordered these cards while grieving the sudden loss of a dear friend. Not only is the artistry beautiful, the questions are also very thoughtful. The letters in the package from the author are were warm and comforting and she explains the philosophy of the cards clearly. You can sense how much she cares about wanting to help you through your pain. The ritual of journaling and then holding the stone after each question and placing it in a vase was amazingly healing. I found myself actually looking forward to doing a few questions each day and liked watching my vase fill with the stones I bought. I was surprised how much ālighterā I felt each time.
This set and the sentiment behind it is absolutely beautiful. The artwork is both beautiful and soothing. Very appropriate for a grieving person. The set does not include the stones or the vase. Every card has excellent questions to prompt journaling, crying, and even smiling. This would be a very thoughtful gift for a loved one or yourself whether the recipient is a journaler or not. It is very healing and most importantly it profoundly honors both the reader and the person they lost. I highly recommend this.
